A sound knowledge of variations of superficial and deep veins of Head & Neck region is important during operative, diagnostic and endovascular procedures of head and neck to surgeons, interventional radiologists and clinicians. The objective of this case report was to bring awareness to the clinicians about the variations in the veins of head & neck in general & the RMV specifically. The clinical, surgical and embryological significance of these variations have been emphasised.
